"This is hands down the best bakery I've ever been to. They use quality ingredients and recipes from authentic Italian culinary. You will find no better and it is the closest to southern Italy!"

"Worth the four hour drive from New Jersey The gigantic rice balls melt in your mouth . Pastries that are so beautiful your afraid to ruin them by taking a bite . Cakes that can't be bought in a regular bakery . If your a desert lover , a pastry chef of culinary student this is a must see ! You will not be dissatisfied. Also there's a espresso bar and gelato station."

"What can I say when you grow up with the best pastries, bread, cookies & cakes. I still make my weekly visits when I'm in Brooklyn. My dad loves their rice ball & pizza. They now deliver cookies & it arrived amazingly fresh. If your ever in Brooklyn you must stop for a fresh Cannoli or Cakes."

"Classic italian bakery in the mist of Bensonhurst. Come prepare to wait in line if you come on a holiday. Their cookies and baked good are really good. A bit too sweet for my taste but I feel is less sweet than other Italians bakeries."

"Absolutely delicious pastries. A little pricey but worth it. The cakes are not only beautiful to look at, they are also very tasty."

"The Best Ricotta Cheese Cake in the Tri State area! I live in North Jersey, and drive there just for the Cheese Cakes. Everything is wonderful. Staff is friendly as well."

"This is a childhood staple of mine. This place, simply put, reflects the old neighborhood. Possibly the only remaining authentic Italian bakery in Bensonhurst Brooklyn. Sometimes I just really need a taste of my childhood and this is one of the places I find it. Their gelato is amazing. They also make gelato cakes, which is the only cake I personally prefer for my birthday. Their bar offers an opportunity to have a quick espresso or perhaps a brioche featuring gelato in the middle. Whatever your preference marzipan, cannoli cream, or nocciola. You can get your fix here."

"After reading the great reviews of this bakery, I was so excited when my friend invited me here for dessert. I've tried the Cannoli from Cake Boss, and honestly I feel this one is so much better, it taste more homemade and less artificial. The shell has the right amount of Crunch, the ricotta and sweet cream filling was delightful. It was not overwhelmingly sweet or artificial tasting. It had Candied fruit, which I've never had before on a Cannoli and perfectly portioned powder sugar. Yummmy! thank you to my friend for bringing me here 🙂 If you are within a 15 mile radius of this bakery, do your life a favor and get a cannoli, you will not regret it!"

"This bakery will always have a special spot in my heart. Great memories connected with eating their pastries and gelato. Great hard working staff! Lots of delicious selections of cookies and cakes and breadcrumbs and bread The best cannoli in New York and I can't leave without having some gelato and a couple of freshly filled cream puffs!!"

"We came from Glen Cove LI and it took us an hour and 20 minutes to reach this establishment. So worth the wait!! I love this bakery!! Everything here is freshly made continuously. We bought semolina bread one with cheese one without for dinner tonight, a birthday cake, and 2 lb of cookies. Needless to say we ate half the cookies on the way home, and the four of us enjoyed them thoroughly along with the coffee and gelato that we picked up on our way out. This is a wonderful Bakery and is always on point... thank you so much!!"

"The canoli's here are beyond the quality of anything I've had at Eataly or anything in Boston. This place is the real deal, and that becomes apparent from the very cool, italian cafe aesthetic they've worked on. I came here with a friend and had canoli's, coffee, and we were stuffed. Everything was incredibly filling (for pretty cheap!) and the staff was beyond nice. Would definitely come back if I still lived in the area!"

"Fresh cookies and pastries. I had a mini cannoli while I ordered my sons christening cake for next weekend. They have fresh bread too. Whenever I'm on 18th Ave I come here!"

"My only advice is to get the Sicilian ice cream sandwich (brioche con gelato). The gelato is squished between a delicious sweet bun and it seriously beats ice cream on a cone or anything else. The ladies serving the gelato were very nice and let us try different samples. We ended up getting popular hazelnut flavor and it was out of this world! Definitely one of my top FAVORITE desserts. Can't wait to come back and try their other yummy pastries."

"Fantastic pastry shop and cafe in NY. Old fashion Italian bakery. Needed to make a stop."

"Nice window displays. I got some pastries not to expensive but not to cheap. But for the quality of these desserts it's worth it for sure. I'll be back again this coming week to get my sons bday cake their. Rainbow cake 25$ cants beat that . I'm sure it will be good. And I love the fact that the girls behind the counter spoke Italian. So real, and such an authentic feeling. Love it. They should expand and have tables inside so people can dine in. I would!! ;)"

"Ricotta is from Italy! I can taste Italy! In Brooklyn I've never had an average cannoli and this is far far far above average :p I would love to comeback and try the cakes. A measure of authenticity is seeing an Italian father figure that looks like he eats cake buying this for his family. I've only seen one instagrammer for the x minutes I was there. Street parking is available. The lady who helped me was also very patient and polite. One star off as there is no names or prices on any of the items."

"Always come here to see yummy desserts. All so colorful. Some are very sweet but certainly will not disappoint you. I always get their cannolis and they have regular and minis! Definitely will try their Gelato and expresso next time!"

"One of the best shops to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. Whenever I visit NYC, I make sure to drop by over here, and buy tub full of ice cream. Pistachio and Zuppa Ingles are probably my favorite flavours. The pistachio closely mimics the taste of slightly toasted pistachios, and very few ice cream shops even come close to its taste. Even the pistachio cake/pastry is sumptuous, and have got it on a lot of occasions. The shop does have a constant queue, and you'll need to wait at times for the attendants to take your order. Other than that, the shop is a treat in Brooklyn."

"still great, nice pastries, love the peach cake, fresh cannolis, nice staff, maybe they can turn into a sit-down cafe at some point"

"NYC has the best Italian bakeries. (Except probably Italy, but there they just call them bakeries.) Villabate Alba is the best Italian bakery in NYC. Therefore, Villabate Alba is the best Italian bakery. I actually don't know if that's a valid argument. But what I do know is that this place has far and away the best cannoli that I've ever had. They also have excellent gelato, delicious fluffy cartuccio (basically a doughnut with cannoli filling), rainbow cookies that I actually enjoy, perfect mini-cheesecakes, real-deal sfogliatella, and freaking corn on the cobs (and other shapes) made out of almond paste. But really, make sure you get some cannoli. Leave the gun."
